On silken strands jewels of water suspended
Images captured, in time suspended
Silent mists remind me of days now ended
Not sure if this is even a real poem per se, but just something that came to mind when I was posting this photograph. The air was heavy with mist and as I was walking by the tennis courts in the part the spider webs in the spaces of the fence were covered in dew drops. They were like jeweled lace. I loved how the drops of water were suspended like jewels on a silken string.

Thank you. π
Very beautiful! I love the poem and picture together π
Thanks! I really loved how the picture came out.
Dewdrops on spiders webs are fascinating. I have often tried to capture this. Great photo and poetry, Pavanneh! π
If you take a picture with your digital camera/phone, just enlarge the area with the web and the dewdrops and crop it. I was so glad I was able to get a clear picture of what I wanted that way.
Thanks for the tip, Pavanneh! Next time I see a spiders web I will give this a go! π
Wonderment.
Thank you Meredith. π
The words and photo enhance each other. Both are beautiful.
Thank you.
I agree with the others who commented. Your poem is beautiful! And I love the jewelled lace, too! I have a patch of lilies at my front door and I often look in there for interesting spider designs.
Thank you for coming by and the kind words. π
