This amazing picture was taken and posted by a meteorologist named Corey Reppenhagen. It was taken in Colorado. It is amazing, beautiful and violent all at the same time. I look at this picture and can see the power of this storm in the image. I can imagine standing in the field looking at this. Feeling exhilarated and frightened at the same time. Storms have always gotten my adrenaline pumping. When I was younger I would stand on the rocky shore near where I lived in CT and just let the wind, rain whip around me. The waves washing over my feet, my arms outstretched and feeling like I could fly.
